do you mind sending me a PM if your game released? -rawr!

Cool looks like it will be a awesome game. if you need a beta tester PM me .

While the actual technique of drawing is good, I don't feel the stylishness of it. First of all, I think adding shadows by simply doing [some color]->black gradients, doesn't look good. If you want to draw quickly try the anime style shadowing - two shades of a single color, one exposed to light and other not exposed, something you used to add shadows to the main character.
Secondly main character lacks details, he's a little too plain in the close-up and far too plain in exploration mode. In exploration mode his belts are covered by his beard, thus they are not visible. Either adding some colored needlework to his lower body would help, or making his beard less plain. Something like plait made with some colored thread. If you would make a single plait from his beard, he would look a little too barbaric, but a few smaller of them at the sides of the beard would look good I think.
I am not actually an artist and I might be wrong about most of the suggestions I gave. But I am pretty sure that the problems I stated are correct. I worked a lot with other artists when designing games, thats why I am far from artist, but I have some understanding about those things.

I don't use Black-Colour gradients. They are far more complex than that.

The idea of the game is to appear simple. I'm trying to keep away from masses of detail and high res for small objects, but just give a very plain and simplistic feel. Thanks for the comments though, I'll think about some of them.

Heh, Console-Length RPG, eh? That kind of thing takes a lot of time, work, and dedication. Hoping for all the best. Congrats, salute, and good luck.

The demo game was awesome, I can't wait until this one comes out. What's a estimate on how long to release?

...-feels special-

Yes.
