BOOM! We're back in business baby! The Element Fire is back, though now it goes by a different name: The Flute of Aeons! The preview I have at the moment uses old code and graphics, now it will have more efficient code and hand drawn graphics rather than sprites! I have a video of the graphics show, sorry for the low quality, but youtube is ghey.

Hope you like the new style, I was going for a more Wind Waker style HUD in this one...

..unfortunately, you'll be waiting a long time. I only just finished the walking animations, very little of the actual engine is done.

Uh that looks horrible,sorry i just hope the engine makes up for it or something...

How exactly does it look horrible? Sure it's not just the quality on the youtube video?

It would take about 10 seconds to draw that,and its not even shaded,the line art is very shaky ect.And the "HUD" is some horrible gradients in a circle,come one try harder please :D.

It takes a lot longer than 10 seconds to draw that. It looks simple but in fact is far more complex than it seems. The HUD will be redone as I know it looks shit, but the character stays. The reason for his simple appearance is the multitude of equipment he will be allowed. Line art is shaky, but not noticeably so, like anything drawn with the brush tool. Link in the picture is about 500x scale. Also, I don't see any of your incredible flash work, so how the hell would you know?

Ok i can understand that,sorry for sounding like a douche,good luck with your functions,you should make a nice class to extend Sound.It doesn't look to bad i just know you can probably do better if you tried harder.

I'm concentrating more on the engine and programming than the graphics themselves, since I will have a lot to draw, I'm gonna leave it with a simple style. Link just has the most animations. I'm gonna use a lot of functions in this hopefully, things like itemGet("PieceofHeart"); and such.

I was one of the few fans of the windwalker style and I see how youve gone in that direction

WW and PH were the only Zeldas I really enjoyed playing. Good luck dude.

A lot of the gameplay will be based on OOT, but the graphics will be based on the Wind Waker. I'll also stick a few references in there to other games, so look out for them.
